June 18, Kathmandu. Ruling Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday left for Singapore, reportedly for medical treatment of his wife Sita Dahal.
Their daughter Ganga Dahal is also accompanying the couple.
Dahal left Kathmandu a day before Prime Minister and another NCP Chairman KP Sharma Oli is embarking on a six-day official visit to China.
Dahal’s Secretariat has informed that Sita is suffering from various ailments including diabetes and high blood pressure. After the death of son Prakash in November last year, her health has significantly weakened.
Earlier, she had visited New Delhi of India for a treatment, accompanied by another daughter Renu.
